127 Film...What to Do?

I've just been handed a sealed roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan ASA 125 film.

It expired in September of 1970.

Now what?


I guess I'll need a camera.

I think I would put it in your display case and use it as a conversation piece.
However, pulling your leg, have you got your glasses on?
Is it 125 or 127 film, and have you read the expiry date right?

It says:

"Kodak Verichrome Pan Flm VP 127
ASA 125/22 DIN
Develop before SEP. 1970C"

Well, presuming you wanted to shoot it in something, I guess about the best you could do would be a Baby Rolleiflex or Yashica 44 in terms of potential for image quality. But there were plenty of other choices.

Then, even if the film is pony-and-trap you'll still have a truly mad 127 conversation piece. 😀
