When I was on holiday in Belgium last week, my father and I visited the Flemish Coal Mining Museum in Beringen.

First time out with the Heliar, so wasn't really too confident of getting anything good. All shots on Ektar 100.

One of the two headstocks.

And finally, some lens flare...oh, and the only place in Europe where old and new style cooling towers stand side by side like this.

C&C welcome.

General impression - very nice. Definitely appropriate and good use of the wide angle. You might want to number them to critique particular ones, I'll try to give you my very amateurish thoughts tomorrow, mostly based on gut feelings (passed bed time already).

To push the thread and maybe give you my thoughts - I like 1,2,3 because the wide angle effect works, it gives you a great sense of space. In 4 there's too much distortion, just a little too intense. 5/6 I find a little boring, and 7 I like. The last one, again, too much distortion (if it's even called distortion, maybe tilt).
