15mm Heliar works well for this shot, no?

nice framing, except that people usually dont want to be seen on the edges of super wide angle lenses. I wonder why, heh.

did you meter built into the camera? bessa L?

How far were you from the people ? I've always wanted to try the Heliar to get this kind of shot ... Do you use it a lot ?

Fred

I can't remember exactly how far but I knew I had to be pretty close. I was probably 5 to 6 feet from the couple and maybe 10 feet from the horse. I shot a whole roll that day, alternating between a 50mm Nokton and the Heliar. Works pretty well when things are close together. You can check out my gallery for more shots with the lens.

einolu,

It was on a Bessa R2 that day.

Thanks for looking.

Shameless plug here 😛 .

The lens does add more than a few pounds, it's not her fault BTW.

Didn't know JLo's into horse riding now 😀

were you standing and holding the camera at eye level?
I shot it hand held in a half leaning stance. I had no idea the distortion would be so unflattering.
