15mm Voigtlaender on the M8.2 - will I be disappointed?

Hi!
I used to shoot (and still do) a lot of film, but increasingly use - particularly when travelling and on climbing trips - an M8.2 with an ~45mm equiv lens (35mm C-Biogon), along with Contax T3 for 35mm. I came to realize though, that I really miss a 21mm lens, and would like to use in the future a compact 45mm + 21mm combination.
I used a Contax G2 with the 21mm Biogon for a while, with good success - what a lens!

With that in mind...will I be disappointed with using the current 15mm Voigtlaender on the M8?
I would mostly use it for landscape and sport/climbing/skiing photography.
I considered the 4/18 Zeiss, but I did not have much luck with 25mm in the past. ~21mm seems to work much better for me.

Anybody went a similar route?
(Alternatively I am thinking of carrying a Ricoh GR21 instead of the T3)

You won't be disappointed if you use capture One with an LCC profile. Or Cornerfix.

I used the 15 on my now sold RD1 and loved it. I now use it on my Xpro and its just as good. Have recently thought of changing to one of the Fuji lenses but the 15 is good. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I used the CV 15/4.5 II (RF coupled & filter threads) with a B&W UV/IR Cut filter for 3 1/2 years on a M8.2, it was my solution for a 21mm lens on that camera.

I coded it as a WATE, usually selecting the 16mm option when the menu came up when the camera was turned on or woke up, but in practice it didn't seem to matter so long as the camera recognized the lens as a WATE.

Coded as such on the M8.2, I never did any additional actions in post (CS 5).

It worked quite well for me, very compact and acceptably sharp and contrasty.

This is the heart of the matter. More than acceptable for real, worthwhile pictures, not necessarily for pixel peeping pictures of newspapers, picket fences, coffee cups or the hairs on your cat.

You'll be disappointed if you expect it to turn out differently than it does. If you don't know how it'll turn out and you don't have any preconceived notions about how it should turn out, I'd expect for you not to be disappointed.

Only you can answer that question for yourself.

When I use the same combination, I'm disappointed at myself for not bringing a 21mm viewfinder, or when I miscalculate zone focus; but the disappointment is not in the combination.

Thanks all for the feedback. I will have a look at the review and photos once back on a computer, currently I only have internet on my cell phone (Svaneti/Georgia).
Sounds like the lens is worth trying.

In general I have never been disappointed in any CV lens....and some are just outstanding. I use a 35mm 1,7 Ultron on my M8u and its so damned good I don't even bother with my other 35's.

I confirm that it works very well on the M8 and is very sharp.
Even Erwin Puts concurs: this lens is a truly excellent lens.
