Very interesting, I still remember my father-in-law's Realist and viewing them with a handheld viewer. Those were Kodachrome's, so probably way better than digital, but still on a computer monitor or a TV, it must be great.
What Raid said about a fantastic line sure is correct: EVF, interchangeable lenses, 3D, small size, plus for me it is worthless, but video. Sometimes you wonder why some companies have such high market share when others don't.

cool!
Just a note - the 16MP is probably not what you'll get in standard 4/3 or 3:2 mode, if it's like the oversized GH1 sensor, they oversize it, so at 16:9 you don't lose as much as you would with the other u4/3 sensor the other 6 cameras use.
Currently, there are probably about 500 cameras using APS-C sensors, and we're now at maybe 8? for u4/3?
hmmm...

I don't know how useful a 3d photo is, seems kinda gimmicky. Also no 3d video, sensors/lenses are possibly too close (on the x-axis) for a very pronounced 3d effect, and f12. The 3d part aside, the gh2 looks like a nice improvement over the gh1
