Yes the evil scientist is cooking again.
Before I buy one from KEH ,
does anyone know the following info for the
16495/ZOOAN Hektor focuser.
Length at infinity
Length at minimum focus.
Inner diameter for fitting things.
My experiment is reversable so I will not be 'violating' the original Leica part.
Nature will be at peace.

I have a ZOOAN that I can get the measurements off of, but it may be later on tonight before I get a chance.

Here are the measurements and info I could gather. I tried to be accurate using my hardly ever used digital calipers, but my technique may not have been the best.
Length at infinity - 49.33mm
Length at minimum focus - 65.3mm
The above lengths include the male thread at the base which is 5.23mm so you'll have to deduct that from the infinity and minimum focus lengths to get the flange to front of the ZOOAN lengths.
Inner diameter for fitting things - 41.33mm at front of ZOOAN.
It is actually a 42mm thread size. I don't recall the pitch, but it is not the same pitch as the Pentax 42mm thread.
Inner diameter for fitting things - 39mm Leica Thread at base of ZOOAN so the inner diameter is just a bit shy of that - maybe 38.33mm???? I forgot to measure that one.
