I like making fun of Neimen Marcus! I always wanted a real chrome M9, but boy, $17,500? I could buy a used M9 next year, have the top removed, and have it chromed myself for a Hell of a lot less! Come on Leica, why implant the desire (Amadeus) and make it out of reach for us real chrome lovers?

Love the thread title - it alone is worth the thread.

My thoughts: given that there are only 50 being made, it should be 10x the price of the Ti M9 (500 pcs), making this an exceptional value.

I bet that by the end of this week, if not already, they'll all be spoken for.
