1937 leica Basket case

Well got the 1937 leica back from Mr.Ye and while it was in his hands had him check and replace the mirror in the rangefinder so I could see better: weel also got 135mm F-3.5 Tanaka Kogaku Tele-tanar serial # 14425
here is three shots with the camera and lens combo: Also this was Walgreens Color film ISO 200 and developed by them and scaned by them :
But the one bad mistake I made was not have-ing a hood for that lens Because when you see the pond shot you will understand the glare off the water alos a Polarizer filter would have helded even More : All comments god or bad welcome:

Your pics look promising... the tulips are very nice !

I'm not sure a hood would have helped much for the water shot... a polarizer would have probably been more beneficial...

I bought a Hoya 39mm polarizer the other year for my 50mm Summicron, and can use it on my other LTM lenses with the A-36 > E-39 filter adapter I have, but frankly, using a polarizer on an RF camera is such a pain, that I pretty-much gave-up using it, except in those situations where I know that all I would get in the final image would be reflections if I didn;t use the Polarizer.

Perhaps if I had a Leitz "swing-out" polarizer, it wouldn't be such a challenge ?

At any rate, it looks as though your "basket case" is working !
