I have a new to me 4/90 Elmar M (c1957).
The aperture ring is tight enough to change the focus when closing down, but not when opening up. The focusing ring/helical feel like new and are not too loose or too tight.
My 90 was just CLAd by a professional Leica shop, and is otherwise, near mint.
Is this reasonable (for a CLAd lens)?
