1954 Collapsible Elmar 9cm F4 goes to Williamsburg

My favorite travel short-telephoto for the M3. The Collapsible Elmar 9cm F4. Collapses for easy carrying in the M3 fitted case. I prefer it for travelling not just for that reason- but it is lower contrast and does not "clip" the image. This lens is good at preserving shadow detail.

Wide-Open, 1/15th hand-held, Fujicolor 200.

Outdoors in bright sun, ~F5.6. I like the low-contrast rendition that maintains shadow detail.

Nikki, on the "tired side". We did a lot of walking that day.

This lens was hazy when I got it, popped the front element and cleaned on each side of the aperture. This lens was only $100 because of the haze, but typically run closer to $200.
