1D MK II Stolen. Is Epson R-D1s the answer?

I would love to find a 1D MK II in good condition, but seems to be quite rare.
Robert, would you mind sending me an "unimportant" shot of yours so that I can see another very good pic out of the RD1 with the right glass? I own only Canon L lenses, but also some nice Leica lenses like the noctilux, a 28, 35 and 50 f2, and the 90. Oh, and a voigtlander 12 mm. Is tht wide enough ? 🙂

with the lenses you've got, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up owning both the R-D1(s) and the 1Dm2(N), so it's really just a matter of which one you gonna get first? 😉

The Canon 1D series is a much more robust camera than the RD-1. Plus they are such different cameras that I'm surprised you're even considering of replacing the 1D with an Epson..
