I recently bought a Rollei 35 T from Ducky on through the RFF Classifieds.
For my first roll I shot Ilford XP2 and had it processed and scanned by a local lab which I recently tried and liked.
I am very impressed by the IQ of this little camera.

Yes, I was blown away with the first roll I took with mine. Just makes you use it non-stop, doesn't it?

Chris, great contrast from the Ilford, and nice sharpness from the Rollei. And good compositions, too. They really show the capabilities of the T.

hahaha.... i use a minox and it stays with me most of the time....the minox is like a cross between the Rangefinder coupled Olympus XA and the Fully manual Rollei 35. These small cameras are amazing in terms of ther image quality, and best of all, we don't usually compare about bokeh...

Great shots and great camera. Thanks for sharing these and reminding me I need to exercise mine more. Poor little thing gets overlooked amongst my other physically larger cameras!

Rollei 35 is one of the very few cameras I regret I sold it. I need to find a new one soon.

Nice pics! I really like XP2 as well, a completely different look from traditional B&W but still very cool.
Is Fromex where you had these processed and scanned? I use them in Long Beach for E-6 and 120. Nice people, good service and very reasonable processing prices but scanning there is rather pricey IIRC.

does the Rollei 35T have a rangefinder? If not, impressive results from Zone focusing.

Yes I had these processed and scanned by in Fromex in Marina del Rey. This shop is owned and run by different people than in Long Beach. I have been very impressed with their work, and their prices are reasonable. They charge $3 to develop C-41 or $4 to hand develop black and white. $10 for 3000x2000 scans of the enitre roll on CD. So far I have had them do Kodak Ultramax, Kodak TMAX, and Ilford XP2 in 35mm. I just dropped off a roll od Neopan Acros 1000 (645) on Saturday. I am curious to see how they do with the 120 film. You can see a sample of what they has done for me so far here.

Very nice shots !
The Rollei35 is a very nice camera. As small as smooth to use.
I just tried it last time for a roll and it's a real good pocket camera.
Between, your shot are great.

Huh... I had no idea there was another Fromex and never would have guessed they weren't related since the name is identical. In any case, that's definitely cheaper scanning then the LB Fromex which is something like $15/roll for 1500px. I'd actually use a proper lab over Costco at those prices.

I think Fromex was a franchise, but all are independent now. There is one in Brentwood that will process and scan C-51, E-6, and B&W plus do hires scan on a Noritsu scanner for $12.95. This is the same scanner PVC and NCPS use.
The best deal is the RFF sponsor PCV. However it takes about two weeks when I send my film off to them and I wait until I have a large batch to make the shipping economical. I want to find local labs that will do a good job and turn it around in a few days. NCPS takes about a week.
