Geez, I would have chosen the 1954 Fender Stratocaster guitar for a cool design.. and omitted that subway map if it had to be only 20 choices in no special date order.

Dear Bob,
Only half a dozen major errors. Not 1923 but 1913; roll-film had already begun to replace plates since the 1880s; the Ur-Leica didn't use cassettes (the film was loaded in the dark); lenses weren't interchangeable until 1930/31; and there were at least 20 35mm cameras before the first production Leica.
Cheers,
R.

Curious choices too. Where's the Polaroid camera? The Volkswagen beetle? Or these? .

The Buzz Lightyear Cup looks, oh, never mind

Roger: you need to be more tolerant of us young folks who were not around back then the way some of you were <G>
It's Friday. Have drink on me. I'm having one in your honor.

I would not call the Sgt. Pepper album cover groundbreaking or a great design.
Kind of a creepy LP cover that is like a subliminal funeral ( maybe for the original Paul McCartney
).
The image reminds me of the well known Hollywood actors and actresses group photos done on large format Kodachrome in the 1940s Studio system.
