Re-instituting one of our best traditions from 2004 -- the 7-day gallery roundup! What were your five fav fotos over the past seven days? (Let's stretch it from Jan 1 to Jan 9 to include all of 2005).

Mine were, in no particular order (and as always it was painful to have to choose only five from the excellent postings):

Newcomer and photographer extraordinaire, fotografz has been knocking my socks off with his entries. I love the drama and the perfect timing/composition of "Opah!"

omg what great pics gene!

i'm not really a fan of colour but john robertson is a master with it and i always look forward to his stuff.
i love the coffee shop shot, well i really like them all!!

I left a lot out - Todd.Hanz's Mall Project, pablo_antonio's compositions, strong work by fotografz & ed leveckis, and much more... several more graksi's alone that I would like to include!
 
I find it very difficult to chose favs; ones that I like now I may find less interesting tomorrow. Incidentally, I have roamed the gallery yesterday and left comments on several shots I liked. Ed Leveckis' (sp?) subway shots are wonderfully gritty and grungy. Love them or hate but that is a very fine series.
 
Todd, Fraley, thanks for participating. You've highlighted some nice stuff -- some of which I missed when it first went through the gallery! Thanks for including one of my images!

Gene and the others thanks for relaunching this thread ! Todd thanks for choosing that pic of mine! :) I'm going to rescan and work a bit more on it soon.

Argh I hate having the ghosts of the exams flying over me every 4 months !

Hem yes, last time I checked it was inside the closet and worked fine ;)

Pherdi, to be honest I haven't finished the roll on it yet. Things have turned a bit complicated lately and I don't have too much of a free time to wander around lately, hence few shots.

Tell me if you'd like to have it back there...

i do read about your exams... i imagine you're busy (me too).
Good luck with them. Actually, we used to wish "lots of sh|t" since saying "good luck" brings bad luck.

PS: in fact, i plan to wait a bit like a mont or so, and if my Rolleicord still did not come home by then, I'll get another TLR. I'm even thinking about "investing" in a good rolleiflex - or a mamiya C system.

Actually if I have to let some camera fly I always prefer to give its old owner first shot for it so I'll let you know if it's the case :)

Remember that this is just a tiny sample of what can be found in the gallery and that it's getting really difficult to keep yourself to five images and that's why...
