Does anyone (besides myself) require some more time to shoot/upload images...? Hell, I started this ball rolling but have had hardly any time to shoot... Finally got out today with the Kiev 4m/J8 and Fed-2/I50 combo... how about keeping gallery open till the end of this coming weekend..... :bang:

I wouldn't mind since I'm only halfway through the roll in my Zorki 4 / Jup-8. I could do with some extra time.

I could use an extension also.

Me too with my Kiev 4am. Or at least a separate place for us tardy ones?

I too would appreciate an extension...perhaps to the end of the month? There is this issue of my scanner still with Nikon for repairs! That and photographer laziness.

Speaking as one who has all the required shots posted, I say go ahead and extend it. It seems that some where caught off guard, especially since the event actually didn't start until way after the beginning date. I mean, I just happened to have a roll already shot and processed even before the rules were finalized, but it fell within the dates of the contest. I then had to teardown my camera, repair it, and shoot two more rolls to get the full complement of entries. But I was lucky. I don't work anymore, so I had plenty of time to do all this, but most everyone else have busy lives. I'm sure someone can come up with an important Soviet event to celebrate on June 30th in order to properly close the competition.

An extenson is fine by me. I posted a few shots, but would be happy to have extra time to post a few more.

Extension would be great, no camera problems here
some major problems with the operator, grrrrr scanning:bang:
Then i just finished my last roll ever of ERA, put in tank, switch on light and see half the roll still attached to canister sitting on the bench...I thought the film went onto the reel a bit too easy
has been that kinda day.

I'm still waiting my rolls from the lab, so an extension would be great.

+1 for extending.
Public opinion seems pretty obvious by now, eh?

The best camera is one that still works!
Well I'm all done ... I have my nine images uploaded and my nerves have finally settled from FSU shooter's angst!
With this extra time I may have to create another user ID at RFF and enter again!

End of month sounds good, tho I'll get it done just in time by 15th. Same as just in time EOM it will always be nearly to late for me. Like my taxes I'm always running late.
So whenever it is I'll need just a little bit longer, I'just slack.

Ok, have asked admin to extend the time to upload images till the end of the month... Looks like there was enough of you out there (like me) who required the extension. Kudo's to those who have already uploaded all their images, namely Keith. Keep on shooting...

Good idea ! Last roll from the Junost came out of the tank completely fogged, I was planning to upload a few shots today.
One more week will be enough for me !
Thanks

Hi Moto, go to the gallery, then sub section `projects and competitions ` in there you will find 2011 FSU competition. Uploading is straight foward but i am the last person you want any advice on print scanning or file size. your pics need to be under 200kb. Thats about all i know.

Ah, fed-it!
) Didn't know about the extension, and hurried like the wind to finish them and upload. Now i regret i might have taken better pictures in the extra time. No worries though, succes to those who are running late! Have a good time and great light!
