Raid,

Update needed with new list of folks coming. I have my reservations set for 5 nights in the general area so I am good to go.:)

I was hoping I could get to one of these gatherings, but I can't this time. It's a busy couple of weeks for me with New Orleans Jazz Fest and exams.

BUMP!!!

My reservations are made and paid for...

Let's get a new updated itinerary and list of RFF members, family, and friends coming to join us!! It is not long from now to April28th!!!:)

i'm a gonna be there with my bride. if any of the guys are airplane buffs, the naval air museum would be a good spot to shoot.
and, of course, we MUST go to joe patti's ...

Hi Everybody,
Let's remember the Pensacola RFF Meeting on the weekend of April 28/29.

Send me a pm if you need assistance with any issues related t your visit to Pensacola. I know only Paul Foremand and Robin Armstrong as RFF "from this area". Paul visit family quite often, and Robin lives here.

We discussed in this thread an initial itinerary:
1. We could start out the day with sunrise shooting at Pensacola Beach.

2. Light breakfast and coffee at Joe's Coffee Cup or Bagleheads.

3. Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach for some photography. Nature walk has herons there. This is the only place needing an entrance fee to the park. I

4. Light lunch at Pensacola Beach.

5. My favorite location: Joe Patti's Seafod Store ( fishing boats and many pelicans).

6. The white sand beaches on Pensacola Beach, driving towards Navarre along the beach.

7. Ask Leica Tom to bring one of is models and join us from South Florida. If this is "too much",skip this part and move to another activity.

8. Sunset on Pensacola Beach, followed by a seafood dinner at one of the restaurants.

9. A walk through the historic downtown would also be nice.

10. If you fish, bring your fishing equipment with you. The fishing pier at Pensacola Beach is also good for photography.

I hope that Tom will see this thread on time.
