21mm Super Angulon

thanks Honus. wow, talk about polar opposite images posted one another! yours' creates negative space by being so uniformly overcrowded with jewelry - nice.

GREAT shots CNPHOTO & ROBERT...
We Go from darkness into the Light.

I think it was in another thread Cnphoto where You mentioned mostly shooting at night w/ 3.4 and I knew Instantly you were an angulon man...lol
I do AGREE 50's & the 21 FOV are Supreme...its my Favorite combo As for speed one doesn't necessarily need it, the 21 Proves it

Best- H

21 on an m9

is there a fix to the fringing on the 21mm super angulon f3.4 use on an m9? A plug in? Something easy?

Serious GAS attack.... There's f 3.4 for sale in a camera shop in the city

I'm checking the serial number today. (Better not take my credit card :bang:)

a plugin call cornerfix, i think.
I heard it also meters on the m9 with -2stops. Can someone please verify this?

:)

just have to bring this up again. Anyone shooting the 21sa with M8 or M9 can please verify this? It will meter just fine with -2 stops of exposure compensation?

Thanks :)

I have tried it once (M8u) and it worked considerably well but not 100% reliable under indoor / daylight conditions.

I tried it on an M9, and the metering with compensation seemed to work (though the color shift at the edges was pretty strong). There might be some variability with focus distance and aperture, in terms of how well the metering works even with -2 stops exposure comp.

Just put my 21mm SA up in the classifieds *sigh* going to try to pick up a 21mm SA F4 in screwmount so I can use it on LTM and M bodies. I know that performance of the older lens is not as good, but the compatibility wins out for me... i hope.
