Hielanman’s Umbrella
You quickly get to learn the pros and cons and the nuances of this little gem of a lens, easily allowing you to work around any problems with it. It really is a joy to work with - especially impressive on an M3 being so small yet heavy with all that chrome and brass. I have to admit it was one of the best lenses I have ever bought - it never fails to disappoint on film.
M3, 4/21 SA, BWYF, Ilford Delta 100, HC110 "B"

I'm seeing a correlation between the summaron 3.5 and 2.8 here. The 3.5 being unfairly regarded as a lesser lens.

All I'm seeing is a post most likely in the wrong thread!

The point i was trying to make was that the SA/4 has a similar and unfair rep to it's faster counterpart like that of the 3.5 Summaron and that I find both lenses to have a similar look which I appreciate.

Have to Agree.
All 21SA lenses are good.
Doesn't matter whether it's f3.4 or f4 or whether it's chrome or black or whether it's before or after #2 500 000.
