I have been ignored with silver and black Leicas, so, as Frank said above, the camera isn't as determining as the photographer's attitude. But, if it helps in making the choice, black looks incredibly cool. 🙂

Given the best possible attitude (which is rather important) I still think chrome draws less negative attention.
But I do love the look of black.

It could be subjective. To me, black looks cooler and more serious, than chrome. That could be a negative when photographing strangers. It's no secret that a big dslr with a long lens is not as accepted when photographing strangers as say, a smart phone camera. An x100 would fall somewhere in between on this spectrum. The question is if there is a difference between black and Chrome.

To me GR is the most inconspicuous and less attention getter but I love the Fuji rendering much better.

This is simply an anecdotal conclusion after using using the Panasonic G1 (black), the X-Pro1, a black X-T1, a chrome Zeiss Ikon ZM and a chrome X100 in public spaces. In all cases a small prime lens was attached. The ZM was the largest and seemed to impart invisibility (except for a few rent-a-cops who didn't know the difference between private and public property). But I did gain access to an event with obvious signage "Professional Cameras Not Allowed" after my camera bag (which contained the ZM, the huge chrome Nikkor 85/2 LTM and the 35 mm Biogon) was inspected by event security.
In different parts of the globe my experiences would likely be irrelevant.
As others pointed out, the photographer's behavior is likely more important.
If one really wants to attract the least amount of attention, one should just use a recent-model smart phone with a camera App that can record TIFFs. I use 645 Pro Mk III for iOS. 645 Pro supports touch spot exposure and focusing; four different histogram modes, focus peaking, and lossless (LZW) compressed TIFFs.
There are countless other excellent quality camera Apps for all brands of mobile devices.

I wish they made the 23/2 that's on the X100T for their interchangeable lens cameras. I prefer that FOV, but find the 23/1.4 too big overall. I've been using the CV 25/4 mostly happily, but would love to have two stops back.

the 23/1.4 is an exceptional lens...i don't let the size inhibit it's use.

If I wanted to carry a camera with lenses that big, I'd probably cart around an SLR instead of the XPro. Give me my tiny rangefinder size lenses or give me death! ...or something 😉
It is a great lens. But currently, I'm probably going to sell it. I just don't use it on a regular basis, solely because of the size.

I ended up selling my 23/1.4 simply due to its size, a decision that surprised me a little as it is a superb lens. I use a "35mm" lens as my everyday carry-round lens and kept finding I was taking an XPro with either the 35/1.4 or 18/2 rather than the bulkier 23mm (and I wasn't regularly using it wide open so didn't miss the extra speed.) Now I have the tiny X100T as a carry round camera which can sit equally well either in my hand or coat pocket and still have the same focal length coverage for my reportage wedding. Admittedly, it's an extra camera body but the flipside is it's also one less lens change.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the 23/1.4 if you don't care about lens size.

i use the 16, the 23 and the 56...none of them tiny but i don't find them all that big either...and they are not heavy...all 3 lenses plus a camera body and the bag can easily be carried all day.
