25 1.4 on E-P3 problem

Hi guys, I'm having a very annoying problem with this combo.
When just pointing and shooting on faces, the result is sometimes slightly out of focus. It doesn't matter if I just use focus on the center or face detection. If I use face detection the eyes are detected but sometimes not perfectrly in focus.
I don't think It's a depth of field problem because I don't have any problems at all with Oly 45 1.8.
I also did not manage to repeat the problem with static objects.
It does not happen all the time. Just a general feeling of randomness in the focus, which does not happen with 45 1.8 (which should be more problematic)
I use S-AF MF focus mode. I tried turning off the stabilizer and it didn't help.

Any similar experiences / ideas?

Is it possible that you accidentally turn the focus ring just before it snap the picture? It's rather easy to do that if you are holding the lens by the focus ring. Just a guess.

a very creative guess (I can actually see myself doing it)
but I don't think this is the problem 🙂
