Just me, but after my first taste of long, after normal, I just always liked wide better than long.

I'd think this of intertest primarily to the collector, and/or someone like Brian Sweeney for in-depth optical investigation!

Oddly, the Davidde review doesn't mention the 25mm Snapshot Skopar f/4 from Voigtlander, but this is a clear user alternative. So much less expensive, more available, likely superior optically, comes with a free finder.
And I see the Canon has 5 diaphragm blades, compared to 10 for the Skopar, for what that's worth.
