28/35 minifinder

Really like the idea of this finder, small enough it seems to be permanently attached to the camera and I could also use it with my Ricoh GR-D. My big question though is, what's the eyepoint like? Am I going to be able to clearly see the 35mm framelines wearing glasses? As a comparison, I can just about see the 35mm framelines (which of course are actually a 50-ish EFOV) on the R-D1 wearing my glasses. Whilst its nowhere near an exact match I'm thinking of having it perform double duty on my R-D1 for my 21 and 25...
 
I wear glasses. Thoughtfully, the finder has a rubber backing so it doesn't scratch your glasses. Annoyingly, it is too "square" ... I can see the top and bottom of the 28mm frame okay, but not both sides at once.
 
Magnification is about 0.5; here's what I mean about the square shape.

I like it, eye relief is fine for me & its size is perfect for small bodies like the thread mount "Barnack" Leicas & copies. I wear glasses like you, but YMMV as faces, glasses, & prescriptions differ greatly from person to person. My only caveat about the minifinder is that the rubber guard around the rear eyepiece mentioned by VinceC can be very easily dislodged on mine. It pops back in & I suppose it could be glued in more permanently, but I've just learned to be careful.

I recently purchased a new 28/35 finder to use on my Canon P w/ the CV 28/3.5. I love it. However, I have had the same problem w/ the rubber backing falling off, that Furcafe reports. In my case, the rubber backing fell off and was lost. Emailed the head barkeeper about this. I also wear glasses, and have no problem seeing the framelines. And I like the low profile and the way the finder blends in w/ the P.

I'm also interested by the 28/35 VF mainly because of the size. I don't need the 28 framelines, just the 35 ones, but the size is a powerful argument since I want to use it on my Leica III (better than my odd VIOOH).
Maybe someone has tried the 35 metal VF and the 28/35 small one; which one would advise me to buy? Is the distorsion on the 28/35VF really bad, or troubling?
