28 f/3.5 with square hood on an M6?

Hello,

Does anyone know if the square hood for the 28 f/3.5 color-skopar cuts into the viewfinder when mounted on an M6? I have to guess that it does a little bit, but is it bad?

😱 I can't say anything about the square/rectangular hood for the 28. I have this lens and have the original hood and a 39mm vented round hood. It can effect the rangefinder but if you position it properly, it works fine. And it looks 😎

I had the 28 with rectangular hood. It definately does cut into the viewfinder, but whether you find it objectionable is a matter of personal preference. I didn't, but I know people who do.
Stu has that lens and hood now, may be worth asking him? Stu?
