There are a few photos using the 28/1.9 Ultron on a Leica M2 at http://pw2.netcom.com/~hermaion/photos.html
They are 1024x683 and best viewed at full size. I'll post some smaller ones on my RFF Gallery.

nice. the last one's my fav. looks like the tree's lunging at the bush, except there's a slippery slope on the way.
plus the composition's just nice.

Where'd my Bessa go?
Nice contrast, it wouldn't happen to be XP2 would it?

It's XP2 with a light yellow filter (Hoya Y [K2]). The lightmeter was set for ISO 200.

How do you like it on your M3? Do you have the ext. viewfinder? I used mine with my M4-P today and came to the harsh realization that this lens requires me to be really close to fill the frame

I made a typo when I wrote the web page. It's an M2, but I used a 28mm finder anyhow.Todd.Hanz said:How do you like it on your M3? Do you have the ext. viewfinder? I used mine with my M4-P today and came to the harsh realization that this lens requires me to be really close to fill the frame.

You really do have to be close. I feel almost like I'm standing in the scene. It's this being so close that causes the perspective problems. If the camera is tilted ever so slightly upward or downward and there are any verticals in the scene, then they can get seriously tilted inward or outward. I keep forgetting that.
