A picture of said filter. Has kind of a brown tint to it with the center being lighter by just a touch.

Having worked as a machinist I have an acute appreciation for the fine machining of things like this filter collar.

Mine's from '38, not coated. I've barely explored what it can do. I like using it on the If.

In 1971 I bought a 3g for $125 , complete with a clean f/3.5 Elmar. Added a 3.5cm Summaron , 9cm Elmar and had the gear for an around the world trip. I've been posting a few images done with the Elmar on that trip in a few posts here. Sometimes I was wishing for something faster for available light especially with colour.
