3 more Fuji X cameras coming...

Thanks for the links. I wonder if one of the fixed lens cameras might be an X100s-type with a focal length other than 35mm (equiv.)? Something for the 50mm people? :) Regarding the possible X-30, it'd be great if it had a 100% viewfinder... I'd buy that for sure!

Got to love fuji for keeping the momentum going. I wonder what the cheaper X version would be like? Wouldn't it be awesome if they could just make a base model like the olympus epm1/2 models with similar size?

The x30 w/ a sensor bigger then 1 inch.. Outside of m43 sensors does anyone current make something bigger than m43 but smaller then any of the APS sensor size variations?

I was thinking, could the x30 be the prelude to m43 csc just as the x100 was for the xp1. I think Fuji is/was a member of the original 43 consortium.

On the other hand would they create a new sensor size bigger than 1 inch but smaller than m43?

The non x tran sensor ring announced this year was expect, but what is this other body?

Do u mean a model between the xm1 and xe1?

Smart phones have murdered all the manufacturers' compact, main-stream, consumer-oriented P&S camera sales. It looks like Fuji is trying to recover some market share from this consumer segment.

Yep.. They need to fine a niche in the upstream market. If I remember correctly about 5 weeks ago they mentioned they were going to reduce their p&s line by at least 50%.

How about an interchangeable lens camera with an x-trans micro four thirds sensor with the usual shutter speed dial but with a built in aperture ring (similar to the shutter speed dial on the OM-1). Not likely but I can dream.

The one used on Canon G1X is between m43 and APS-C, isn't it? However, I think that 'bigger than 1 inch' means m43 size, which is now produced by couple of manufacturers. And also FujiFIlm is officially supporter of m43 standard, so... is it going to be m43 sized sensor in X20-kind of body?

x-m1 light with a fixed lcd.
x100s with a full frame sensor.
x30 with a 1"+ sensor, fast zoom lens, and an evf like the x-e1.

An x100s w/ 35mm f1.4 or f2 would sure make me happy.
Then one more with a 60 f1.4 or f2 and that would be it.
Yes, I prefer the fast fixed lens models to slow zooms or interchange lens cameras.

I don't mind them if the camera only has an LCD. If that is the case, then I'd rather it flip up 90 degrees.

well I am hoping for something more elegant than my solution for my LX3 and the X100, which is a bent plastic mirror I carry in my bag . . .

i dont know, there just doesnt seem like enough FL difference between 35 and 50 to make it work for fuji like the merrill series worked for sigma, with a 28/50/75 spread. i'm really hoping for something in that 75-90mm equivalent range, with hardware/software in the x100(s) mold. id be on that in a heartbeat, and between that product and my x100, 90% of my photography needs would be taken care of.
