3 more Fuji X cameras coming...

Ill try to answer you both: nothing. looks like I will continue using and being happy happy with what I have.

I would like the new PS AF tech from the x100.
Having the "split pixel" MF aid would be fantastic (for lack of a better word).
Otherwise the xpro1 is super. I still use my x100 classic the most often though and would love a 50mm version (and a 90/100mm version too :D ).

I'm not Fuji insider. The two links you provided doesn't seems to be either. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

That site gets things right often... plus, this thread is 2 months old and one of the three cameras has been leaked. I just didn't see the point of your comments... we deal with rumors here a lot. If you don't like that, don't come into the thread.

OK.
I simply read the title of this thread. With my limited English I was expecting something like pre-production review from dpreview.
Cheers.

I understand. It makes sense now. Yes, only once a camera is released does it show up in dpreview's news section. However, we post rumors here often for any cameras we are fans of. The rumors are generally accurate though.

Fuji kind of does "cover" the range with the new XC 16-50 zoom lens that comes with X-M1. Not sure about the image quality, but attach it to XP1 or XE1, then you have X with tri-elmar ish in your focal length range.

24/50/75 and im in! thx for the idea. please submit employment application to:

fuji x series
what the heck do we need next dept
idea guy position

I will add to that - what exactly is wrong with the xp1?

Let me start by affirming my love for my "dead shark" :) ok now that I've got that out of the way, ladies and gentlemen, please lower your rifles.
My one and only gripe is that OVF support for legacy lenses is a cruel joke. After all the fuji generated hype about m lens compatibility, their adapter focuses past infinity, hence no zone focusing, there is no frame line support after 60mm, the camera pretends it has no clue what focal length your lens is and defaults to 1/30 in auto iso - aperture priority mode. The frame lines are dim yet magically brighten with a fuji lens.
Perhaps now that they have a few more of their own lenses out they will feel less threatened and do better in the xp2. End rant.

Oh yes, a tri elmar xbody would be phenomenal.

There is a difference in handling between a zoom lens and a tri-elmar type of (well, zoom) lens. The difference is not exactly the same as click stops vs. no click stops for aperture, but that gives the idea. Fuji does not seem particularly interested or invested in video with their X series cameras, and a click-stop zoom would therefore make more sense than for most manufacturers.

Wait, that seemed like more than one gripe. :D

tri elmars are for rangefinder cameras due to framelines. It would make sense for the X100 to have a tri-elmar style lens for the OVF. Traditional zooms are for EVFs and SLRs.

How correct and accurate are these comments?

I am on the edge of buying an XE1, and a big attraction for me is it's versatility in using adapters to use various "legacy" lenses.
I have the X100 and a D5100 with plenty of lenses, so the XE1+other lenses is kind of self-indulgence, and I can't decide. (In the back of my mind the XE1 may eventually replace both the X100 and the D5100.)

There are excellent photos posted on the forum of the X-bodies using other lenses. And yet these remarks suggest that there are lots of glitches to live with in this regard.

I imagine some people think it's worth putting up with these glitches, some don't and some may not even recognize any glitches.

So, what's the truth?
