I've got a Moskva 5 coming from Fedka and according to what I read online, it uses 33x0.5mm filters. Anyone here got a spare yellow one to sell/trade/whathaveyou before I begin the search online?

Thanks,

William

It doesn't use 33mm x .5 filters - your Iskra does!

The Moskva takes some sort of slip on filters, the size of which escapes me at the moment.

If you have a Moskva-5 on the way it uses about a 40mm slip on filter (actually 39.86mm as measured on my Moskva-5) . friends of mine have been watching for one in Kiev for a LONG time now with no luck. The Iskra and IskraII use a 33x.5mm screw in filter. I got one from RAF Camera but it was two years in the finding. www.skgrimes.com/ will make one to your spec. (they make a lot of differant adapters) that uses an "O" ring to lock it in place but the thing is about $USD 70 so I made my own. Regards, Dave

My Moskva 4 takes the same filters as my Iskra.
My several Moskva 5s do not have any provision for the screw in filters- thus the slip on filters are needed.
My suggestion is wait and see what you get.
they are great cameras if you get a good one

Hello William, There is a chance that you have a Moskva-4 last type which were (as I understand) relabeled as Moskva-5. Does it have two red windows in the back? if so it will take both 6X6 and 6X9 with the proper mask. I may have a spare Mask and a 33X.5 mm yellow filter which won't fit my Iskra II because of a larger rim size. I will however fit a Moskva-4/5 if it has the earlier lens assembly. PM me. FSU cameras, :bang: .Regards, Dave

Hmm. Interesting to hear about the variations in the cameras. Guess I'll wait till it comes and see if it's threaded or not. It's ok to wait though - I found some Fuji Reala 120 on sale today and snarfed the last 6 rolls in the shop so a yellow filter would be ... scary, at best, I should think :D

Thanks all for the info. I'll get back at you, Dave, depending.

William
