Can anyone who has seen both the Nokton 1.4 comment on the amount of viewfinder intrusion compared to the Ultron?
The lens seems pretty small from the pictures I've seen here and elsewhere, but how does it handle?
Thanks!

I expect the Nokton will have no intrusion, perhaps just the hood which is vented. The Ultron blocks just the lower right corner of the 35mm framelines.
Being so small my fear is that with hood on the Nokton will be cramped and not smooth handling for me as I prefer a little room for my fumbly fingers. I sold my 35 Summicron and Canon 35/2 because I thought they were too small. I don't mind the size of the Ultron, but I know I am in the minority regarding this opinion.
Actually, with it's fucusing stick, I think the 35 Skopar Classic may be a good lens for me. Small, but I like that stick better than the big knob on the lens barrel.

Depends on the camera, on my M4 the hood just protrudes in the corner of the 35 mm frame, I'd say about 4-5%, but still noticable. Don't know what it would be like on other film cameras, but it doesn't cut the frame on my Epson RD1 either.
