I have the post-WWII Zeiss-Opton 35/2.8 Biogon & have owned 2 of the 35/2.5 W-Nikkors (still have 1). Both the Biogon & the W-Nikkor are fine lenses, but the Nikon is usually much less expensive. On balance, I would say that my Biogon has a little more resolution wide-open than my W-Nikkor, but that the Nikkor is bit higher-contrast & more flare-resistant. From an ergonomic perspective, the black version of the W-Nikkor is considerably lighter than the earlier chrome version & the Biogon.
I have no shooting experience w/the post-WWII E. German version of the Biogon, which is essentially a coated variation of the original pre-WWII Biogon. I think the Soviet Jupiter 12 is optically the same.
