I recently (late) found that there is a non-transparent circular ring (approx 2mm thick) inside one of the element of my 35/2.8. What is it? I found no such thing at my other canon LTM lens.
Is it a black ring around the outisde of one element as you look in through the front, just in front of the iris? That's just edge blackening on an element that's much smaller on the rear than on the front.
It is noticeable when I look through the front element, a very even circular ring. But, it is not in black, is in semi-transparent. I'm really not quite sure what is it. It might not be separation as it is very even and like a circle.
Do any of you have 35/2.8 and notice that?
