My finder for my kiev is a little loose. Any tips on how I can tighten up on the shoe?

If a piece of cardboard works, try that first and to make the job more permanent, use adhesive-backed paper or electrical-type plastic tape, which comes in light colors, maybe white, as well as blue, red, green and yellow... regards, bob cole

Masking tape at the bottom part of the VF solves the problem for me.

If you have ever taken a kiev apart, after undoing the 4 screws that hold the cold shoe in place, underneath there is a piece of stamped steel sheet "spring" that puts pressure on the asscessory mount, it could be misssing or maybe it needs bending to keep the pressure.
