OK, I find myself really intrigued by this lens, despite some of the cautionary tales I've read. I'd like to try one out on my M8, pretty much exclusively for B&W use.
I know there are two versions, one that uses a threaded filter and the other that uses a Ser7 filter. I am much more interested in the one with the threaded filter.
I'm wondering if there is any difference in image quality between the two versions. I know the threaded version is older.
