35 Summilux Pre Asph Hood - Redux

Well done boffins. It was only on Monday that I started exploring yellow filter options for this lens. I intend to leave it on my Monochrom. In many ways the filter adapter is what I want. I have a perfect hood and already I am leaving that off and just using a lens cap.

Old thread but just wanted to say thank you for this...the hood on mine was driving me crazy and now that I've put together the Minolta D42KA and the 12524 I'm much happier

Any further tips? I've been wanting to try this but not sure if I can stomach dissecting my 12524 since its not exactly cheap
