This is an older thread, but I ran across it because I'm thinking of getting a 35mm Summaron. I love the look of these photos. They have about the same look as my early 50s Canon Serenar 28mm f3.5, and my 1953 Leica 50mm Summicron. All of them are double-gaussian designs, and I'm wondering if that has something to do with the look. Elmars, and most everything else, don't look the same.
