35mm color negative stocks compared

Very interesting comparison of many available film stocks.


Normally I hate long videos, but I really enjoyed this one. The guy knows what he is doing. I just wish there was a similar test involving discontinued emulsions (Superia 100, 400, Reala, some Agfa stock), but I know it is not realistic. Even if you can find some outdated rolls such test would not mean much due to their outdated condition.

Yes, it would be interesting to see how the old Fujicolor 200 compares to the new one, for instance.

I have some frozen Superia 200, original by Fujifilm, made in Japan. One of my favorite emulsions. But Im not into this kind of tests, too complicated for me 🙂
