What 35mm RF have a scale on the lens to preset focusing?
And the going price?

I am looking for one... budget is $175.00 $200.00 max

How literal is what I'm wondering...

35mm focal length, rangefinder focusing, DOF scale -- can't think of any. The Olympus XA has no DOF scale, I think (never used one). The Minox 35 does but is not an RF.

Oly SP, Canon GIII 17, Minolta 7s size... Typical 1970's style RF...
And one I can have an CLA or Overhaul done, if it needs it.

Maybe asking to much...

as long as I have a footage scale, I can get a DOF chart online..

Let's shift this Q to "Best" Compact RF that can still be serviced if needed...
Oly SP, is one I have in mind....
I need an Automatic mode also... I'd guess most of these have that.

Why can't you just buy say Olympus XA, and just print on paper the hyperfocal distances and tape it onto the back of the camera?

Yashica Lynx 5000 - little larger than 35RC but ergonomics is way better than of those smallest FL RF's, I mean shutter release and articulated aperture/speed rings. Lens has focusing tab. May need CLA but any of Mark Hama or Russ@camerarefurb will do it.

I think, the closest, to come about this would be a Rollei 35 @ 45mm focal length.
It comes with either Tessar formula or Sonnar.

It's focussing is strictly scale focussing.
It has a meter and is super compact.

But it is extremely well built, resulting in a quite surprising heft, when picking it up the first time ;-)
