I guess that 'normal' for me is a mind which can't ignore peripherals , so over the years , I seem to be trained to see in 50mm.
This actually helps without a camera , as i can see several 50mm 'snapshots' joined together rather than a continuous 'scanning '.
The ultimate IQ of a digital camera is therefore immaterial , it's the filtering of the view which helps .
it's as if my mind can't blur the edges of snapshots to create a video.
i know it's weird , but it's the mind which creates 'reality' for us all .
I find distortion uncomfortable outside beyond 40-75 , with a 35-80 film zoom 'translated' in APSC to 52-120 the most OK.
This is a brain glitch , with constant reinforcement , of which I am all too aware .
This was the 1970s with obligatory 50-58mm , so it's unlikely that someone of a late generation would be similar .
