I used to have a M6ttl .85 and found it very difficult to see all of the 35mm framlines, in particular at the bottom. I don't wear glasses and have 20/20 vision. Eventually I had the camera converted to a .72 RF with the flare fix.
 
You gotta get your eyeball right in there if it's an .85. I don't wear glasses, and I am very comfortable using the 35mm frame on my upgraded RF in my M6TTL.
