I have a 35mm f/2.8 Summaron that I use on an M3. The alignment of the rangefinder patch is slightly off. It's fine for solid horizontal lines but it doesn't have that 'pop' of the un-goggled rangefinder.
I think I've seen mention of the difficulty of making this adjustment. I assume that I need to rotate the lens element that covers the rangefinder window. Anyone ever done this? Any hints, advice, warnings?
