35mm vs 38mm

I'm thinking of a Konica Auto S3 or a Electro 35cc to compliment my Konica Auto S2. Each of these cameras/lenses are highly regarded with their own set of pros/cons, but I'm wondering if you guys tell the difference in FOV between the two lenses?

Not really. It is only when you are in a situation when you think that a 35mm would give you that slightly wider view which you need for that particular shot, do I miss the 35mm.
Have had compact cameras with 35 38 and 40mm all at the same time. I have just sold my Rollei with the 40mm focal length lens for mainly this reason. So I am now left with the 35mm and 38mm lens cameras.

As I often use Konica S3 as well as Hexar AF, Olympus XA... I do "sense" the difference between 35mm & 38mm focal length, although it is small. I don't have Yashica 35CC, though.

Anyway, since Auto S2 has a 45mm lens, both 35mm and 38mm should be wide enough to compliment it. But if both S3 & CC are offered at the same price, I'd take S3.

The ZM C-Biogon 35/2.8 is really a 37. I prefer it to a "real" 35. Note that MANY lenses are ±5% of nominal focal length.

By the way(off topic), pics from my Hexar AF always seems to show more DOF than those from my other 35mm lens, such as Olympus XA or Contax G35. I wonder why. 😛
