36mm pre-asph summilux price

Hi,

Can anyone tell me: what is a reasonable price for a EX+ condition 35mm pre-asph summilux including hood and box?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

That will cost you a lot of money. 36mm lenses are extremely rare.

haha. that will cost you about $1400 for a minty pre-asph piece. V1, crazy mtf with soft "leica glow".

Assuming you mean 35mm f1.4 preASPH summilux, i could be anywhere between $1300 - $1600.

Up until recently, i was hunting for one myself but couldn't justify commiting that amount of money for a used lens just yet.... in the future perhaps....

I tried to sell a newly serviced M 1,4/35 in mint condition + shade + box twice for €1050.- and nobody wanted to pay this price.

The prices above seem reasonable, if it will focus on your cameras well, with clear glass, and smooth focusing. Depending on age, it may have an older style base cap, and over the lens metal front cap. In excellent (like new condition) late versions (German-made) can fetch up to $1800. Earlier, Canadian-made versions up to $1600. Used lenses with some signs of wear (and missing box etc. ) usually go for much less.
