4 days - only a carry on. - YES!

I am traveling to Toronto [UIO-MIA-YYZ] Sunday with a carry-on and a brief case only. It feels nice not to have checked baggage.

[Brief case - F3HP and waist level view finder, F4/MB21, lenses: 20/2.8, 24/2.8, 28/2.0, 85/1.4, and my Stylus Epic.
Film [in a zip lock bag] - Tri-X, Pan F 50, Provia 100F, Ektar 100, Ultracolor. The bulk of it is in Tri-X]

I wonder what everyone will say as I pass through security?

Carry on, is the usual stuff.

I will be there for 4 days, seeing family, and purchasing photographic supplies, having a few prints made, and shooting film! I can't wait!

Too bad I have to leave and return back to Quito.

Sounds like a pretty big briefcase. In any case, I travel with film cameras and stuff all the time. No Problem. Why would anyone "say anything"?

I agree but everyone is different. Each to his own.

This time I am bringing everything as I want to use all my lenses, and have a camera for b&w and another for color. In MIA I want to take a few shots of the airport and planes.
Yes one camera, one lens works for me, but I want more variety on this trip.

Here are two things you might hear them say:

1. Your toothpaste tube exceeds the 3 ounce limit.

2. Please remove the blade from your razor.

They will have no interest, notr will they be impressed, with your camera equipment. They see that kind of stuff all the time.
