40.5mm Filters, hoods etc.

I just purchased 2 40.5mm filters from Ritz Photo at the mall for $9.00. They came together, a Circular Polarizer, and a UV filter. They had a ton of filters on the clearance table, I also got a 48mm Yellow for $2.00. Here are the other sizes that I noticed. 49, 67, 46, 52, 37, 35.5, and 67. This was at the Arnot Mall in Big Flats NY for those who may live nearby. I would also check or call your local Ritz.

I was recently in the Ritz store in Ithaca and they only had a polarizing filter in 40.5mm.
Even though Ritz is a chain, each store likely has some variation in their stock.
Certainly worth a phone call any way.
I bought three hoods from Heavystar and the transaction went well.
I should get the package next week sometime.

The one I mentioned earlier is the same design except that it's diameter is 43mm.

The three hoods I bought from Heavystar came in yesterday's mail. That's six days from the time I mailed a money order across the US and back to me!
The hoods are very nice! I got a 40.5 vented(same one as in your post R.J.), a 40.5 wide--to use with my J-12--and a 49 tele for the J-9.
Now I'm almost completely photo-geeked out :D
I highly reccomend this seller!
