Just picked up a 40mm Summicron C for my M9 didn't really need anymore lenses but couldn't resist.
Very impressed the size is great for a everyday carry lens. Decided to test it against my 35mm pre aspherical 1.4 Summilux as I'm quite pleased with the performance with that and thought as long as its similar I would be very happy.
Very impressed with the results, pics shot at f2 f2.8 and f5.6 I would maybe say the summilux is slightly better at f2 but there is really nothing in it and then once the Summicron is stopped down it overtakes the Summilux.
