There's a new celebrity recording of John Cage's famous piece 4'33" out this year as a Christmas single in the UK.

I'd like to find the perfect combination of film/speed/developer/temperature to use that time to develop a film. I can listen to the ambient noises around me as the piece is performed, commencing with the filling of the tank and ending with its draining.

What recommendations do you have?

4'33" is a little short for consistent manual development, but that time should be very close for:
Plus-X @ EI125 in HC110 dilution B at 21C
Plus-X @ EI125 in Xtol stock at 22-23C
Neopan 1600 @ EI400 in Xtl stock at 20C

There are others.

I used to develop Neopan 400 at EI250-320 in Xtol 1+2 for the length of the Television song "Marquee Moon" but I started using a timer after I came back from a trip to Russia and had to develop a hundred or more rolls and could only do them eight at a time. Listening to that song over and over got a bit weird.
