Hi guys

I usually use 400 speed B+W film and use an orange filter and compensate 3 stops when shooting in bright light where I want to stop down.

Is there a system that will allow quicker release of the filter? I'm looking for a red filter now and wondered what options there are. Something that I can clip on/off would be good. I'm using a 28mm Ultron lens so it would be best if it fits under the lenses hood but not critical.

Cheers

I have a Cokin system, but it's for my Hasselblad. I don't know of a system for a small lens besides just changing filters.

I'm in the same boat as you. There just doesn't seem to be filters that you can snap on and off, like you would a lens cap. I'm not sure why there isn't, but the only alternatives are the chunky Conkin & Lee filter systems, that are more suited to a tripod mounted/ landscape shooter, alas..

And the Lee and Cokin filters are optically pretty bad, at least in comparison to B+W MRC or Heliopan SHCMP filters.
