4th time not a charm :-(

My 4th RD-1 body has gotten the vertical alignment problem *head desk* Arggghhh... :bang: I bought the camera around Thanksgiving so there is another 4 months left on the warranty. I am thinking though to just send the camera to DAG or someone to repair. What do you think?

Sigh. On the plus side, I took more than 5000 pics total in the 8 months with the camera, plus ~1000 more with the M7 so I am about shooting more than twice as much as usual...

If, by vertical alignment, you mean the rangefinder windows are not exactly coincident in the vertical direction when lined up horizontally, then it's an easy fix well documented in this forum. I sort of look at it as a maintenance issue, like sensor cleaning, though others may not agree. So, if it was me, I'd just roll up my sleeves and fix it myself. If you don't fancy doing it yourself, it's an easy adjustment for a repair shop.

Unless I've misread your post, I wouldn't think it was worth returning for this.
