Yeah me too, though the one I saw on the market didn't have the flag so it might be an after market sew on.

The available inserts seem pretty cool too.

that's a velcro patch. you can put any number of humorous patches in its place.

nice sized bag. top zip closure, half zips on the outside. i like.

There are inserts available for this bag. The guy showed me varuous pouches you can attach to the inside.

Thanks to this thread, I have just taken delivery of both the 2 and 4-banger bags from 5.11 Tactical. Nice stuff -I will try them out this weekend and perhaps post a new thread.

I picked up a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack last year for a go light camera bag, added a Domke insert and it's worked out great.

The bit that sold me on it is that under the flap going into the main compartment has a para cord storm collar to keep the rain out.

You could Velcro on a Canadian or UN flag to symbolize your passivity.

My 5.11 bags have the velcro patch receiver.

If it is really bothersome, just drop a Hinomaru on it and pretend it means something else.

Or, just do what I do -ignore it.

They are reasonably priced too and available at Gander Mountain. A bit of a trip for me but I will check them out next time I am down that way. I often wear my Domke strap cross shoulder but have never found a messenger style bag I like. This just might do the trick.

I used to keep my Bessa in an army surplus ammunition bag. However, it was covered in various patches (mostly scooter-related).

I'm still waiting to find the perfect beater canvas bag at our enormous Goodwill (actually *is* 'the thrift shop down the road') to wax myself.
