Right now I'm shopping on FotoImpex and was thinking about picking up some accesoires for my 35mm ZM Biogon I'll be receiving soon. The official zeiss shade for 35 & 50mm doesn't seem to offer much shade, and is outrageously expensive.
Right now, I'm using a metal 42 to 52mm adapter on my 50mm tabbed Summicron, and slap my 52mm filters on it. Not only very convenient since I have plenty of 52mm filters and they are cheap, it also offers a bit of a shade for the summicron. Doesn't block the VF and it's a solid construction.
What would you people suggest for my Biogon. A 43 to 52mm adapter + filter, a filter and some other kind of 3rd party sun shade, or just no sun shade at all?
fyi: I dislike plastic accesoires, and find square hoods to be very sexy.
